Description

Cheesy Baked Ravioli delivers pure comfort straight from your kitchen, turning a simple pasta package into a crowd-pleasing dinner that requires minimal effort and maximum flavor. Layers of cheesy goodness melt together with store-bought ravioli, creating a weeknight meal your family will devour in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Cheese Topping:

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings:

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 375F and grab a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Pour 1 cup of marinara sauce across the bottom of the dish, creating an even layer.
  3. Arrange 1 package (25 oz) of frozen cheese ravioli directly on top of the sauce in a single layer.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the ravioli.
  5. Scatter ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese across the first layer.
  6. Add another 1 cup of marinara sauce, covering the cheese and ravioli completely.
  7. Place the remaining ravioli on top of the sauce in another layer.
  8. Top the second layer with the remaining 1 cup mozzarella and ½ cup Parmesan cheese.
  9. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil across the surface and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
  10. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  11. Bake at 375F for 25 minutes, keeping the foil sealed.
  12. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes until the cheese turns golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • Fresh ravioli works best, but frozen ravioli can be substituted by adding 5-10 minutes to baking time.
  • Choose a high-quality marinara sauce to enhance the overall flavor of the dish.
  • Experiment with different cheese blends like adding ricotta or provolone for extra richness.
  • For a lower-carb version, swap traditional pasta ravioli with cheese or spinach-filled zucchini ravioli.
